Export WLAN Support Info

The Export WLAN Support Info Screen is used to collect and export WLAN Support files to your computer. The files contain configuration and historical data that can be used for WLAN troubleshooting. The screen also displays collected files and download status.

Collecting/Exporting WLAN Support Files

To collect current WLAN information click on the Start Collect Support Info button, then click OK at the Confirmation Prompt. A .tar file containing WLAN Support information will be downloaded to the table and the file status will indicate "Collecting". When the status changed to "Collected", select the file and click on the Export Support Info button to download the file to your computer. You can only export one file at a time.

To delete WLAN Support Files, select the file(s) and click on the Delete icon.

Export WLAN Support Info List

• File Name - The name of the WLAN Support Info file. The name indicates the date and time the information was collected.
• Status - The download status of the WLAN Support File:
  • Collecting - OmniVista is collecting the necessary data to create the file.
  • Collected - The file has been completed collection and is ready to be downloaded.
  • Failed - The download operation failed during data collection.
