Settings

The IoT Settings Screen is used to configure IoT data retention preferences. Set the fields as described below, then click on the Apply button.

IoT Configuration

• Days Before Purge - The number of days an endpoint device record will be kept if there are no updates for the device (Range = 1 - 60, Default = 30).
• Historical Records Count - The number of historical records retained for an endpoint switch/AP combination (Range = 0 - 25, Default = 2).
• Total Records - The total number of IoT records OmniVista will store in the database. Records above the threshold are purged. Historical records are purged first, followed by offline records (Range = 1 - 500,000, Default = 100,000).
